{17:3} Daily Prompt: Bone of Contention

Daily Prompt: Bone of Contention

Pick a contentious issue about which you care deeply — it could be the same-sex marriage debate, or just a disagreement you’re having with a friend. Write a post defending the opposite position, and then reflect on what it was like to do that.

In this house under duress Jack and Angel do what i say. i.e. i tend to delegate some of the work. Now mostly for Angel i think that she resents this, and her way of dealing with it is to steal food out of the pantry & fridge.

If i was thinking from her point of view i would think that she is thinking the following.

  • Why doesn’t mum do it herself?
  • Why can’t i just sit and play on the computer.
  • I hate doing dishes.
  • I hate keeping my room clean, so i will just stuff the whole lot into the cupboard.

Now the arguments and disagreements that we have in this house about the above, are daily and several times a day. Jack and i have been trying to keep things as organised as possible. i.e. put things away after using them, washing up after using it. But angel has gotten into some really bad habits and i really need to break her of these before it get’s worse.

What idea’s do you have for this problem?

Hey There, I’m Nic. I am a "Home Executive Blogger" who blogs too much and takes too many photos. I am a collector of memories, moments and relish in the snippets and slices of everyday life, I like to call myself an Everyday Life Photo Journalist. I live with my beloved husband, daughter, A Dog and a Cat near the sea in Tasmania. I love home decorating, meaning i spend way too much at Kmart.
