Book of the Week The Busy Mums Cookbook

I came across this in our local Library today.

The Busy Mum’s Cookbook – Mary Gwynn

“Easy, Quick And Delicious recipes for families with hectic lives”

The busy mums cookbook takes the stress out of feeding your family. With ideas for school-night favourites, weekend specials and sunday roasts.

Mary shows you how to:

  • banish eye-watering supermarket bills
  • prepare quick meals for hungry partners, “starving” teenagers, and demanding young children
  • create meals that stretch or keep, when you just don’t know how many people are coming.

Using fresh, easily available ingredients. Mary’s recipes feature all-time favourites such as no-fuss fish pie, prepare-ahead lasagne and easy-peasy pizza. And there are plenty of easy-to-makenexotic offerings – try Moroccan Spiced Lamb Tajine with Apricots – and pure comfort-food treats including Cappuccino Walnut Muffins and Double Chocolate Pecan Brownies.

The recipes in this book sound delicious and the photos are a mouthwatering delight. There are hints accompanying many of the recipes as well.
Hopefully this coming week i can fit a recipe or two from this book into our menu plan. Will update the post after i have.
