Letters to my daughters: on success

Letters to my daughters: on success

Dear Angel,

This week you went out of your comfort zone and went ahead and nominated yourself for Student Councillor at school. You didn’t get in but you where so pleased with yourself that you at least tried out for it. You wrote a speech, told a joke, and i hope that you made a friend or two. It wasn’t the Success that you had hoped for but i am pleased that you made the effort to try.

You got your school report today, not the greatest of reports but not bad either, you still have a lot of growing up to do, and that applies to you’re schooling and school work also. Dad and I want you to be successful in your life, but you need to apply yourself now.

I do hope that you take some of what i say to you on board.

Love Always Mum
