Gypsy Beach Cottage

image8

Jack is currently building a Gypsy Wagon, i have vetoed most of his ideas of turning it into a purple place on wheels and i am going all beach bohemian gypsy cottage for the Gypsy Cottage with perhaps a touch of industrial.

The interior is all white with stained pine or bamboo benches / flooring.

I want to add colour through accessories with things i already have on hand but also adding some beachy items as well. In looking around the house i have some great beach type items such as an oar, some prints, and crockery.

Some things that i have found online: * Pinterest / Kmart / Bunnings / Spotlight / Target.

I have removed all photos if you would like to see what i am talking about please go to my album on Pinterest titled Living the Gypsy Life.

I am a collector of memories, moments and relish in the snippets and slices of everyday life, I like to call myself an Everyday Life Photo Journalist. I live with my beloved husband, daughter, we live near the sea in Tasmania with our many pets. I love home decorating, meaning i spend way too much at Kmart.

  1. Hi jules, all good here. Just taking a social media break.

Yes the Gypsy wagon / Beach Cottage should be interesting. Jacks building it from the ground up. We brought a handmade horse float last year that we have been using for the markets for the gold panning stock, and he has taken the top off of it, enlarged it. It will have a Bed-Nook, Loft, Small kitchenette, lounge/dining area. His plan is to travel around the island in it. As i am not a keen camper and the only way he can get me in it is for me to design it :).
