Food: Go to Chicken Pasta

IMG_9594

I was stuck for something to cook a few months ago due to not being on the Michelle bridges programme and i found a recipe either from 4 ingredients or taste, it could have even been from pinterest i am not sure. But it went down so well for the three of us that it has become a go to meal. Although each time i cook it i cook it differently so its altering each time.

Go to chicken Pasta

  • Servings: 4-6
  • Time: 30 minutes
  • Difficulty: easy

Ingredients:

  • 1 cooked chicken – Pulled apart
  • Pasta – cooked
  • Mayonnaise or Aioli
  • Curry Powder

Method:

  1. Cook the pasta (I cook it in the thermomix, it takes about 20 minutes). After the pasta is cooked drain and put into a large bowl.
  2. Add the chicken.
  3. Mix with mayonnaise / Aioli and Curry Powder in with the pasta and chicken.
  4. Serve.

I used a store brought Lemon Chicken, and added a ranch style Aioli Dressing, instead of using curry powder. I also added a jar of sun-dried tomatoes, and topped with Parmesan Cheese and a Basil Leaf.

Verdict: Angel wanted seconds… So thats always a good sign.

This is a similar version that Angel really enjoys
