Let It Go!

typorama-9

For Years now i have been trying to re-capture the past, living in it, revealing in it, Creating memory keeping items dedicated to those no longer with us. After reading Marie Kondo’s Book i now see i have wasted so much time trying to get back what i lost instead of looking forward to whats yet to come.

I am only up to books but can already see that letting my past go is what i have needed to do for quite some time, I need to embrace the now and move forward to what i am meant to be doing. Achieving goals and kicking those bad memories that i have been holding onto to the curb.

I look around our home and see things differently now, Many of these things i have been looking at for months even years, but staring straight past or through them, they don’t hold the joy they once did, they feel tainted with bad moments and memories that i want to leave in my past. I have been holding hard and fast to that past and i need to LET IT GO..

Getting rid of all of the Magazines and Books has been such a revelation to me. Such a huge change.

Hey There, I’m Nic. I am a "Home Executive Blogger" who blogs too much and takes too many photos. I am a collector of memories, moments and relish in the snippets and slices of everyday life, I like to call myself an Everyday Life Photo Journalist. I live with my beloved husband, daughter, we live near the sea in Tasmania with our many pets. I love home decorating, meaning i spend way too much at Kmart.
