Who are some important mother figures besides your own mother who have been influential in your life?

I would have to say my grandmother Lil,

who i lived with as a teenager. Besides Mum Nan was the largest influence on shaping the woman i am today. You can’t half tell how alike we where.. She said it like it was and then some, i had her wrapped around my finger (my younger cousins once asked for lessons). Without a doubt she was always at the drop of a hat there for me, and i thank her for that. She passed in 2005 (here is my letter to her). Besides My Parents she is the person that i miss the most, my grief was still strong until we lost my dad. She was my Idol, My grandmother and my friend.

My Aunties Suzzane, Aj & Margaret,

Who have all taught me how to stand up for what i believe in. I went from the shy house mouse to someone who spoke what she thought. We butted heads many times over the years because of this. But above all they are the most amazing women and i wouldn’t have it any other way.

Auntie,

She single handedly brought up three girls who lost both parents at a young age. She was from what i have been told single all her life, and dedicate her life to the three girls (My Mum and two Aunts). She lived with us for when i was about 8.
