Best Advice

Best advice you’ve received lately

People are always so ready to dole out advice, especially via social media. We seem to be surrounded by it. Live your life this way, do things that way. What is some advice that you have received? Me i have received plenty of it over the years. The ones that annoy me are How to Mother. What is right for you is most likely not right for me or for any other young mother. Yes we will make mistakes, yes we will stuff up, but each new mistake is a lesson, at the end of the day it is our child.

How to Grieve is another one. There is no time limit on grief. Someone who has never lost a parent let alone both of them, shouldn’t be dictating to someone still in one of the darkest times of life be telling you to “Get Over it”, We need to grieve for as long as we need to grieve, we will always miss our loved one, they can’t be replaced and they shouldn’t be. Let us remember them how we was to, not how you say we should.

Everyone has different circumstances, we all live different lives. Any advice i had to give out, would be from my point of view, and in 99.9% of circumstances probably wouldn’t be the best advice for you. What advice i can give is to make memories, preserve those memories, take photos, ask questions of your loved ones and spend time getting to know them..
