My dad was a larrikin from way back. As you can see from the photos he was always the one with a cheeky grin and a sparkle in his eyes.

  • He would say to us that he and his Brother would wear chooks on their hands for party hats. 
  • They used a cardboard box because they couldn’t afford a tent
  • I don’t know how it stared but they (Mum dad, uncles and aunties) used to point there fingers in the air and say “Irky Perky Turkey”
